Important

LudeWeather is not a professional meteorological service. Do not use it as the only source for safety critical decisions involving severe weather.

Forecast accuracy

Weather data on LudeWeather comes from the OpenWeather and Open-Meteo APIs and is provided on an as is basis. Weather forecasting is an inherently uncertain science, and conditions can change rapidly and unpredictably.

Short term forecasts, roughly 0 to 24 hours, are generally more reliable than extended forecasts of 2 to 7 days. Accuracy also varies by region, time of year, and the prevailing weather pattern.

No warranty

LudeWeather makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the weather data shown. Any reliance you place on it is strictly at your own risk.

Not for safety critical use

You should not rely on LudeWeather alone for decisions involving:

  • Aviation, maritime, or other transportation planning
  • Emergency preparedness or evacuation
  • Agricultural or industrial operations
  • Outdoor activities in potentially dangerous weather
  • Any situation where weather may put life or property at risk

For safety critical situations, always consult official meteorological services such as your national weather authority, NOAA in the USA, the Met Office in the UK, or the equivalent where you live.

Data latency

Weather data is cached and may be up to 10 minutes old when shown. Rapidly developing situations such as sudden storms may not appear immediately. Always verify with real time sources in severe weather.

Limitation of liability

LudeWeather and its operators are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or inconvenience arising from reliance on the weather information provided, including financial loss, physical harm, or property damage resulting from weather events.

Third party data

Weather data is provided by OpenWeather and Open-Meteo. LudeWeather is not affiliated with either provider and is an independent app that consumes their public APIs. Their terms and disclaimers also apply to the underlying data.
